Staff working for Bellway Wales – which has its divisional head office in Cardiff – have raised and donated an amazing £12,745 for Cancer Research UK over the past two years. Homelessness charity Llamau has been presented with a cheque from housebuilder Bellway Wales, after staff took part in the organisation’s annual Sleep Out event. The Bellway team raised more than £3,800 after taking part in the charity event, which is held at Cardiff City Stadium each autumn. Two charities in Cardiff have been awarded grants by Hanfod Cymru, the independent charity established to distribute funding from money raised by Loteri Cymru ticket sales. Lawyers will be put through their paces in a charity run to raise funds for survivors of brain injury. Staff from the Cardiff offices of Onecom helped raise more than £2,000 for the mental health charity MIND with a sponsored run. Workers from across the business took part in the event on Thursday (June 29th) as part of ongoing celebrations for the company’s 15th birthday.
