Swansea-based charity Street Football Wales has received a £1,000 donation thanks to Tesco’s Bags of Help Scheme. The grant to the charity, which holds football matches across Wales for the socially excluded, has gone towards providing breakfasts for the players to make sure they’re on top form for matches. CHARITIES and community groups across Wales have now been awarded grants totaling £5 million thanks to Tesco’s Bags of Help initiative. Since launching in 2015, the scheme, run in conjunction with the charity Groundwork, has seen £71 million from the sale of Bags for Life fund more than 23,000 local projects across the UK.
