Cardiff is ranked as the UK’s third most sociable city and is nearing a billion darts thrown. Flight Club is offering free darts for life and a chance to win a dream trip abroad.
From the 21st April, anyone who books a session of Social Darts or Bottomless Brunch at any Flight Club will be automatically entered into a draw to win a trip to a destination of their choice, anywhere in the world where there’s a Flight Club. You and three others could be jetting off to Vegas, Sydney, Chicago, Melbourne, Dublin. The list keeps going!
As if that wasn’t enough, Flight Club are also giving away a Flight Club Gold Card. This one-in-a-billion card will entitle the lucky winner and 11 of their friends to free Social Darts at Flight Club for life.
If you’re not lucky enough to win on the big getaway or money-can’t-buy Gold Card, every Flight Club venue will be surprising guests with complimentary drinks and bar tabs.
To mark this incredible countdown, the Social Darts bar released the Flight Club Social Index, a deep dive into the nation’s going-out habits. Over the last decade, Flight Club hosted more than a staggering 14.4 million people across 12 different cities in the UK alone. And Cardiff has plenty to shout about.
The Social Darts pioneers revealed that Cardiff punches well above its weight when it comes to a proper night out, crowned the 3rd most sociable city in the UK based on average group sizes. Cardiff locals go big for a night out but have also mastered the early finish, coming in at 3rd in the Home by 10 Heroes category for bookings between 5-8pm. That doesn’t stop the Welsh Capital throwing 342 darts per hour, trailing behind Bristol at over 400 darts per hour. Cardiff ranks sixth in the Work Hard, Play Hard category for post-work Monday-to-Friday bookings, proving that Cardiff keeps things steady during the week to save the true energy for a big weekend blowout.
The index also revealed that Demolition took the top spot for the most-played game of the year in Cardiff as well as every single UK city. This game is one of seven on offer at Flight Club, joined by the brand-new game Limbo. And finally, the prize for Cardiff’s stand-out-stars is awarded to Andrea P, who has clocked up 36 visits to Flight Club. I think it’s time to make that 37…
