Anna Rescue Centre for Cats

15/02/2019

ARC – Anna’s Rescue Centre, based in Rumney, rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes stray, sick, injured and abandoned cats and kittens. Since setting up the charity in 2016, the charities namesake Anna Mason, together with her large team of volunteers, has helped 1000’s of desperately in need animals and they can’t do this without you.

Having expanded in 2018, they now have space for approximately 60 cats at any one time – over 2 rescue catteries and 10 foster carers. This may sound like a lot, but the majority of the time the rescue is full. This is due to both the sheer number of cats that are waiting for help and also that there are so many cats already in the rescue patiently waiting to find their new families and their forever homes. The adoption process is simple, it begins with a home check, where Anna or one of her team will visit your home and discuss what you are looking for and expecting from adopting a cat and then trying to match this with one of the cats in our care.

There are so many heart warming stories of cats that have not had the best start in life who are now happy, comfortable and settled in to new homes with their new families. Will you be the next happy ending?
