THE Artesian Quartet will deliver an exciting programme of Haydn and Beethoven in a compelling Lunchtime Concert next Tuesday (10 May) at 1pm.

Since forming at the Royal Academy of Music in 2009 (where they finished their time as 2014/15 CAVATINA Chamber Music Fellows), the Artesian Quartet have established a growing reputation touring the UK and internationally.

They were also the 2013/14 St Peter’s Prize Winner Quartet, 2014 Park Lane Group artists and one of three 2014/15 Chamber Studio mentorship groups at Kings Place. Furthermore, they have debuted at the BBC Proms and been broadcast on BBC Radio 3.

At the National Concert Hall of Wales, the four-piece will perform Haydn’s Quartet Op 76.1 and Beethoven’s     Quartet Op 74.

Before the concert a mouth-watering selection of sandwiches, hot drinks and hand-made cakes will be available from our arts café Celf on Level 4. Delicious speciality Welsh cheese and antipasti platters can be booked in advance.
