My Name is Natalia Mavromoustaki and i am 23 years old. I have just graduated at the university in Cyprus as a social worker.
On the 30th of August 2015 i took part in a beauty pageant called Face of the globe Wales heat , one of the biggest beauty pageants in the UK. I won first place winning myself a trip to the world finals in Disney land Paris in April 2016.
The pageant supports the Rainbow child foundation, a charity which aims in supporting children from underprivileged backrounds. Our heat raised just over £10,000.
As a social worker and a Welsh representative i would really like to say to young girls out there that, education is an important key to your future. Beauty comes from within. A kind heart, good education and confidence make a beautiful woman.
Many girls believe that by trying to always look perfect, have a Hollywood-star body and lots of make up will make them happy. But, happiness comes when you learn to accept, love and respect yourself for who you are.
I travel a lot round Europe on exchanges and training with the European Erasmus, plus programmes as a social worker. I learn so much about different cultures and personalities and at the end of the day no matter what your background is, whether it is good or bad, you are the one that can determine your future for the better. Never give up on your dreams and always set goals in life.
