CARDIFF AGILITY STAR TRIUMPHS AT CRUFTS

20/03/2018

Pixie, a Miniature Australian Shepherd from Cardiff, South Glamorgan, has taken a top agility prize at Crufts on Thursday March 8th, winning the Kennel Club Novice Cup.

Pixie (whose official Kennel Club name is Basileas Pixie Power) and owner, Susie Josty, won in the small category after competing in an exciting agility final at the world’s greatest dog show. The top ten large, eight medium and eight small dogs from the Novice Cup competition (Grades 3, 4 or 5) held at the Kennel Club International Agility Festival last August took part in the finals on Thursday at Crufts.

Proud owner Susie said: “It feels brilliant to have won at Crufts. I am so pleased with her as it’s her first time here and she’s done so well.”

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary said: “Congratulations to Pixie and Susie for a fantastic performance at Crufts. The Novice Cup is a great competition and Pixie and Susie should be proud to have won with their amazing teamwork. We wish them the best of luck for the future.”

Crufts took place from 8th – 11th March 2018 at the NEC, Birmingham.
