The software development consultancy participated in a number of fundraising events, including fancy dress days, an old device amnesty and a 10k run.

Tŷ Hafan supports life-limited children in Wales and was voted as Box UK’s charity of the year for 2014-15. The cheque was presented today by Benno Wasserstein, managing director of Box UK, and Sophie Hayden, chair of the Box UK charity committee.

Following the presentation, Benno said, “I am delighted we have raised this money for such a fantastic cause. We’ve held everything from bake sales and fancy dress days to the old device amnesty which was particularly interesting – I had no idea the team was harbouring so many ancient products in their homes.

“Tŷ Hafan carries out vital work for the children of Wales and to support such a worthy cause is something myself and the rest of the Box UK team are very proud of.”

Eleanor Ryan, business and community fundraiser of Tŷ Hafan, said, “We are extremely grateful to the Box UK team for all the hard work they’ve put in to raise this money. The amount raised will make such a difference to the children and families we support.”
