Cardiff’s Hub Festival to feature musical performances and training sessions from charity Live Music Now

16/08/2016

UK’s leading musician’s development charity Live Music Now is preparing to deliver several performances at this year’s Hub Festival in Cardiff.

This summer, LMN musicians are taking part in Hub Festival’s The Full Moon, with their very own Live Music Now stage on Saturday 27th August. Performances will be taking place all afternoon and will include a variety of music ranging from singer/guitarist John Nicholas’ acoustic set, to the classical duo performance of soprano Jessica Robinson and harpist Llywelyn Ifan Jones. Artists will be delivering a 10 minute presentation, a training taster session which aims to provide advice to young musicians present; performance skills, self-promotion, vocal technique and many more.

“We are extremely excited to be part of this year’s Hub Festival!”, comments Claire Cressey, director of Live Music Now Wales. “Our musicians are fully trained to deliver interactive performances, usually to residents of care homes and children within SEND schools, however this festival is an amazing opportunity for us to help inspiring musicians with their performance skills and to bring joy to the community!”

The Hub Festival weekend tickets are £20, daily tickets are £12. For more information on Live Music Now and the work that we do, please visit http://www.livemusicnow.org.uk/
