Celebrating St David’s Day with Welsh and English music in support of local charity, Pedal Power

05/02/2016

A concert of Welsh and English music will be held at St John’s Church, Canton, CF5 1NX, on Friday 4th March at 7pm. The concert will celebrate the week of St David’s Day and all monies raised will be donated to local charity, Pedal Power.

Brigyn, with their stunning songs and harmonies, will headline. Legendary Welsh folk singer, Heather Jones, and the hugely talented, Aled Rheon, are the supporting acts.

The concert is in aid of Pedal Power, based in Pontcanna fields and Cardiff Bay. Pedal Power is a registered charity encouraging and enabling children and adults of all ages and abilities to experience the benefits of cycling. Further information about Pedal Power can be found at www.cardiffpedalpower.org.

Brigyn says,”We are delighted to be headlining a gig in aid of Pedal Power. On numerous occasions, we have hired several bikes from Pedal Power, for recreational use, and relaxed in the cafê. We are delighted to keep on saying that we always have the best and warmest welcome when we visit the outlet in Pontcanna. It’s a valuable experience for all involved in the charity – and that’s something worth supporting!”

Tickets can be purchased at Spillers Records or at www.wegottickets.com/event/342347 (advance tickets: £10/at the door: £12).
