Constructionline are encouraging SMEs in the construction industry to attend their next Meet the Buyer event, which is set to take place in Cardiff on Wednesday 14 June. The event, which will take place at Cardiff’s All Nations Centre, will provide the opportunity for contractors, consultants and suppliers to connect with main contractor and public sector buyers to discuss upcoming work in the region.

Confirmed exhibitors at the event include: Bibby Factors Ltd, Kier Construction, JN Bentley, The National Procurement Service (NPS) for Wales and Acclaim. City of Cardiff Council will also offer contractors information on how they can join both the SEWSCAP2 (schools construction) and SEWH (civil engineering and highways construction) frameworks, which are open to all South and East Wales public bodies. The event will provide a chance to speak face-to-face with these leading main contractors and buyers to foster professional networks and secure work contracts.

Constructionline Sales Director, Andrew Lowe, commented: “Our up-and-coming Meet the Buyer event in Cardiff will help bring light to a range of work opportunities available in the area. Networking events like these have proved hugely beneficial for all involved in the past and we hope this one will be no different. We look forward to welcoming you to the event and hope it will prove worthwhile in terms of securing future work.”

The Meet the Buyer event will take place from 08:30 to 14:00 at All Nations Centre, Sachville Avenue, Cardiff, CF14 3NY and is open to Constructionline members and non-members.
