Crafts for Christmas at St Donats Castle

Heralding the start of the festive season, Sunday 3rd December sees the return of Crafts for Christmas at St Donat’s Castle in the Vale of Glamorgan. This popular annual craft fair showcases a wonderful mix of handmade crafts and food exhibitors; the perfect opportunity to kick start your Christmas shopping!

With over 50 stalls to browse, including a number of first time exhibitors such as Bees Delights, Hearts & Dragonflies Jewellery, Skratch Ceramics and Fauvette, you’re sure to find that extra special Christmas present at this truly festive event.

The organisers of this year’s event are delighted to welcome back the award winning artisan baker Alex Gooch to the food hall. Alex will be selling a range of breads including sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia, brioche and spiced buns.

Crafts for Christmas takes place in the stunning grounds of St Donat’s Castle and Arts Centre and will feature a bird of prey display in the medieval castle courtyard. Younger visitors can enjoy face painting by Fabulous Faces and not forgetting that all important chance to meet Santa!

In addition to craft and food stalls there will be live music in our café area overlooking the

sea, where a range of refreshments will be on offer throughout the day. And if its street food you’re after, then head outside to one of the many outdoor food exhibitors for something hot and tasty!
