Edwards Coaches, now in their 91st year of trading and 5th generation of family ownership, have carried their run of award wins from 2015, into early 2016. Last month, it was announced that Edwards are in the running for no less than 6 awards at this years National Coach Tourism Awards and this month, they were awarded winners of 2 awards at the annual Accor Hotel awards in London.
The awards were: 1) ‘2015 Partnership Achievement Award Group and Coach Operator’ and 2) ‘Special Achievement Award’ which was presented to longstanding Edwards employee, Alan Clough, who has recently retired from his position as Tours and Contracts Manager. Both awards are acknowledgement of the hard work and dedication shown by all the staff at Edwards.
The Accor Awards recognise leisure and tourism companies within the industry and throughout the UK. Each company is reviewed based on room sales, revenue and account relationships; only the highest scoring receives the accolade.
The high achievement standards set by Edwards in 2015 will be difficult to follow but with 2016 already off to a winning start, the outlook is definitely positive for the year ahead.
