Marriott Hotel Competition

22/04/2015

Whether you’ve never experienced Cardiff or you’re a veteran of our beautiful city, there is always something new and exciting to discover. From travelling the universe with The Doctor, through to celebrating a Welsh victory in Rugby, Cardiff has a huge variety for all to enjoy and the  Cardiff Marriott is near all these great attractions as well as providing a comfortable and relaxing hotel.

The Cardiff Marriott was opened in 1986 as a Holiday Inn, owned by Scott’s Hotels of Canada, becoming a Marriott Hotel in 1992. In 1995 Scott’s sold the franchise to Whitbread Hotels who then sold the franchise once more in 2005. The hotel is now managed by Marriott on behalf of private owners.

The hotel is just 5 minutes’ walk from the Millennium Stadium, home of Welsh Rugby, but also an amazing sporting and concert venue for a huge variety of entertainment. Tours are available daily, providing no event is taking place, and give an exciting behind the scenes look at the history of rugby in Wales but also give a first-hand experience of being a player!

As well as this we are not far form The Doctor Who Experience, a great day out for fans of all ages!

Within the hotel we have 184 bedrooms with 7 meeting rooms, a restaurant and bar and leisure club with large gym, swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi. We source all our food from Welsh suppliers and are a proud Welsh hotel, our location is fantastic for city centre shopping, business and sporting events.

Our Sunday Lunch offers the best range in Cardiff, with a full 5 course carvery offered for just £14.95 per person.

As a special offer, Cardiff Times will be offering a competition for the chance to win a FREE Sunday dinner for 4 people. To enter just follow the link to our Facebook page, like and share our post with a comment saying why you deserve to win. Winner will be drawn on the 21st May.
