Paul Carrack: These Days at St David’s Hall. Sun, 10th March!

07/03/2019

THE legendary Paul Carrack is back with his best album in years and he’s coming to St David’s Hall on Sunday 10 March.

Paul remains one of the most revered voices in music and a figurehead of soulful pop for decades. These Days is his most accomplished collection of songs in his distinguished career featuring 11 new compositions – six self-penned tracks and five co-writes with his old Squeeze bandmate, Chris Difford.

With an extensive back catalogue of hits to his name including How Long, Tempted, Over My Shoulder and The Living Years, Carrack’s soulful voice is instantly recognisable to millions of fans worldwide. His songs have been performed by some of the biggest names in music including Tom Jones, The Eagles, Diana Ross and Jools Holland.

The Sheffield-born singer gained a huge following as a member of Ace, Roxy Music, Squeeze and Mike & The Mechanics. Throughout a career spanning well over 30 years, he’s also been constantly in demand as a session keyboardist performing with the likes of Elton John, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, The Smiths, BB King and The Pretenders to name a few.

This much-loved blue-eyed soul singer is a firm favourite with Radio 2 listeners, and continues to stride forward on a hot streak of creativity that shows no signs of slowing down. It’s no wonder the BBC dubbed Paul Carrack ‘The Man with the Golden Voice!’
