Love Trails Festival: 10th – 13th July
Join a global gathering of thousands for an epic four-day celebration of movement, music and outdoor adventure on the wild coast of South Wales. Spend your days running, hiking and exploring with breathtaking views of the Gower Peninsula, then dance the night away with DJ hosts and curated live music sets. IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea: 13th July
Athletes and spectators can expect a fantastic route in a race destination offering scenic beauty with the historic SA1 dockside, the charming coastal village of Mumbles and the beautiful Gower Peninsula, a National Landscape and the first in the UK to be designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This year is a special year for IRONMAN 70.3 in Swansea as it has been designated the first IRONMAN Pro Series Race to take place in the UK. Athletes participating in IRONMAN 70.3 Swansea will take on a 1.2-mile (1.9km) swim at the Prince of Wales Dock before cycling a 56-mile (90km) bike course, then taking on a 13.1-mile (21.1km) two loop run course. The spectator guide can be found here. IRONMAN 70.3 will return to Swansea on 12th July 2026.
Gower Peninsula Ultra Challenge: 19th – 20th July
A new Ultra Challenge for 2025, set in the stunning Gower Peninsula –famous for its golden beaches, limestone cliffs, wild moors, ridges, and woodlands. With 75km, 50km, Marathon, 25km, and 10K challenge options, as well as a bar & entertainment at basecamp – this event will be one of the highlights of the season! Tickets starting at £39 here.
Admiral Swansea Bay 10k: 14th September
The 44th Admiral Swansea Bay 10k will take place on 14th September 2025, bringing together thousands of running enthusiasts and elite athletes who will race along the majestic sweep of the Swansea Bay coastline, on a fast and scenic course which is perfect for first-timers or trying to beat your personal best.
