Peer Forward is an exciting, new, three year Big Lottery funded project which has been developed by St Giles Trust. We utilise a peer-led approach to benefit local communities and enhance community services in Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan and Gwent. With its growing number of daytime fun sing-along sessions, the Goldies Cymru Charity is taking off across South and West Wales. Fondly referred to simply as ‘Goldies’, the growth of the charity has been supported by the Cardiff-based Moondance Foundation and the Big Lottery Fund in Wales. Oasis Cardiff is a center for Asylum seekers and Refugees. They are open 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.00pm. They offer ESOL classes, employability workshops, dance classes, a women’s only area, mother and toddler groups and support with letters and phone calls regarding asylum and refugee issues.
