Bioflow, the leading manufacturer of magnetic therapy products worldwide has signed a two year fundraising partnership with the Pink Ribbon Foundation, ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. Part of the partnership sees Bioflow launch a dedicated pink Sport Flex Magnetic Therapy wristband, sales of which will raise money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation. The Pink Ribbon wristband will retail at £30 with Bioflow committing 10% of sales of all Bioflow Pink Ribbon bands to the Pink Ribbon Foundation….

  Two South Wales sisters have pledged to do 20 challenges for 2020 for Macmillan to mark 20 years since they sadly lost their mother to breast cancer.   Sisters Verity Pyke, of Cardiff, and Lauren Turner, of Bridgend, want the public’s ideas for their 20 fundraising challenges for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of their mother Susan Turner, who sadly died in 2000.   So far, the pair’s 20420 challenges include a family climb up Pen-y-Fan, a zip wire…

  A gym has recently opened at University Hospital Llandough to help those having treatment for breast cancer feel fitter, stronger and improve their confidence. Cardiff and Vale Health Board Chief Executive Len Richards, and Chair, Maria Battle visited the McCarthy Suite at the Breast Centre in University Hospital Llandough to meet Victoria Collins, Senior Physiotherapist, Mr Sumit Goyal, Consultant Oncoplastic Surgeon and some breast cancer patients using the facility.
