Marie Curie is appealing for local volunteers to help manage the charity’s collection boxes in and around South Wales. Cancer patients and their families in Wales are set to benefit from the fundraising efforts of one of Cardiff’s most popular luxury hotels. Park Plaza Cardiff has raised £14,100 for Velindre Cancer Centre in the last twelve months, as part of a charitable partnership between the two organisations. Asda stores in South Wales have raised an incredible £7,350 for Velindre Cancer Centre.
