The Lakeside Wing, based on the grounds of the University Hospital of Wales (UHW) site, accepted its first patient at the end of December 2020.   Lewis Martin Court, a specialist nursing and residential home for disabled adults in Cardiff, received a visit,  early March,  from local AM, Vaughan Gething.       Health Secretary, Vaughan Gething, has announced £1.2m to improve the renal dialysis unit at University Hospital for Wales (UHW), Cardiff.
