Amber energy, an award-winning energy management consultancy and one of Wales’ fastest growing businesses, has appointed a new director as it now targets global expansion having doubled its turnover in 2015.
To help the company manage its expansion, Alison Howard, an experienced energy professional, has joined as a director.
The appointment represents an exciting new phase for the company and confirms its position as a pioneer and leading thinker in the industry.
The appointment is also notable in that it helps close a significant gender gap in the industry. As recently as 2015, only 5% of executive board seats of energy companies are held by women, according to UK Government statistics.
