I am a 22 year old bluesman, from Cardiff, South Wales. I’ve been playing the guitar for coming up to 9 years now, and the thrill of picking a guitar up, still excites me as much now, as it did when I was a 14 year old boy.
I am massively influenced by the great British blues men, of the 1960’s and 1970’s; Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Rory Galagher, Paul Kossoff etc. However it wasn’t long before I was on to the great American bluesman, such as Buddy Guy, who influenced me massively.
I am currently in a really exciting blues band, called Smokestack Lightnin – having just recorded our debut album, and are planning a US TOUR for 2016; it’s really feeling like much more than just a hobby: it’s become my addiction. I’m currently on the look out for some professional management – to turn this dream into a reality.
