Volunteering in Greece

I am currently in the process of waiting for The grand finals in Paris 2016 for ‘Face of the Globe’ where I will be representing Wales with another one hundred women competing from the rest of the world. I have decided to dedicate my time to help the refugees at the borders in Greece as a social worker.

I feel it’s a wonderful experience, where i am meeting different people, helping out, and most of all supporting the people that are in need. It is a very interesting experience as now we do not only meet Syrian refugees, but we also see many from Afghanistan and Iraq and I feel very honored to have been given the chance to do this. I really recommend it to anybody that has the time and to visit the fields to feel what real humanity means. All the clothes and food that we are collecting are excellent, and without the donations we would have nothing to offer.
