The annual YCN Student Awards name students from University of South Wales as one of commended entries for Quorn brief

Young students from University of South Wales were highly commended in this year’s YCN Student Awards for creative ideas developed for Quorn™, a brand that produces a wide range of sustainable, protein-rich products.

The YCN Student Awards shine a light on creative excellence of students and recent graduates from countries across the globe. Quorn, whose mission is to encourage the world’s population to consider meat-free meal options for the greater good of the planet, wanted to support young designers and showcase their talent by featuring their ideas in their own branding and visual content materials.

For the competition, students answered a brief whereby Quorn asked for original, attention-grabbing ways of encouraging people to go meat-free for a day.

By giving students a chance to answer a contemporary communications challenge and have an opportunity to be featured in widely-publicised content, Quorn and the YCN Student Awards hope to give youngsters visibility and confidence to pursue their passions.

The Quorn brief received 38 entries from young creatives from the UK, US and Czech Republic. All competitors showcased great ideas, incredible talent and creativity.

Quorn is proud to support the YCN Student Awards and creative thinkers around the world.
