The Football Association of Wales has today (Wednesday, 6 March) announced the Wales squad for the ‘C International Challenge Match’ against England at Salford City’s Peninsula Stadium on Tuesday, 19 March. Tennis players from Wales have been called up into the Great Britain teams for a series of international competitions, with two already achieving success. James Story (Cardiff Met) and Morgan Cross (Wrexham Tennis Centre) have both helped GB 16U teams reach the finals of the Tennis Europe Winter Cup, while Hugo Cochlin (also Cardiff Met) represented GB Boys 13U against France. Dr Sarah Curran, Reader and Principal Lecturer in Podiatry at Cardiff Metropolitan University’s Cardiff School of Health Sciences, has been awarded a National Teaching Fellowship by the Higher Education Academy.
