Six in ten (61%) of adults in South Wales who feel lonely fear something will happen to them and no one will notice, and a third of adults there (34%) have no one to turn to about loneliness. The Patient Experience Team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board have organised group activity sessions at University Hospital Llandough aimed at bringing staff, patients and the local community together to help tackle loneliness and isolation in hospital.
