  Around 120 children from 6 special schools competed in The Lady Taverners inter-school sports day at the National Indoor Athletics Centre in Cyncoed. Heronbridge, Meadowbank, Ty Gwyn, Riverbank, Ysgol y Deri and The Hollies competed in sports from wheelchair races, long jump, table tennis, skittles and egg and spoon races. Welsh Gymnastics is proud to announce that it has appointed Ann Bevan as its new Chief Executive. A native of Pembroke, Ann represented Wales at Hockey in the Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games in 1998 and was a physical education teacher in Howells School in Cardiff for more than 17 years.
