 In response to today’s NHS statistics which show that cancer waiting times targets in Wales have once again been missed, Anneka Hughes, Cancer Research UK’s public affairs officer in Wales, said: “It’s deeply concerning that these critical targets have been missed yet again.” “For someone who suspects they may have cancer, waiting for news is an extremely anxious time. It’s crucial that once patients are diagnosed they get the treatments they need quickly to have the best chance of survival.”…

On 6th April 2016 Jess Shanahan set out from Plymouth on a 20 day journey across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland – finishing in Galway on 26th April. We run sessions designed to improve strength & balance, reducing the risk of falls. I started my first session over 18 months ago at the Star Leisure centre. A new series of fun, informal tennis sessions at local parks and clubs across Wales has got under way to inspire more women to play tennis more often.
