A major charity match-funding initiative by the National Emergencies Trust and Crowdfunder UK has announced it will remain open over the coming weeks to enable Welsh charities and groups to cope with seasonal increases in demand. The National Emergencies Trust is calling for charities and groups in Wales to apply for its new Local Action Fund with Crowdfunder UK, which aims to support community and voluntary organisations to counter the financial impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is appealing to the people in Wales to donate their quality preloved items using its freepost donation service, to support the charity’s recovery from the coronavirus crisis.  In June, the BHF launched a new post to donate service, making it even easier for the public to give their decluttered items to charity.
