The charity thanks the public for helping to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Staff from the Cardiff offices of Onecom helped raise more than £2,000 for the mental health charity MIND with a sponsored run. Workers from across the business took part in the event on Thursday (June 29th) as part of ongoing celebrations for the company’s 15th birthday. BBC Children in Need has allocated over £29,600 in new funding to a group working with disadvantaged children and young people across Cardiff. This is the third time that BBC Children in Need has awarded new funding to projects across Wales this year, with further funding to be allocated throughout 2017. Over the last bank holiday, three teams from Parkinson’s UK cycled to gardens open for charity in England and Wales to the celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the National Garden Scheme.
