Aspiring Welsh tennis players enjoyed success in early pre-season tournaments nationally and internationally across various age groups. At the International Tennis Federation (ITF) event in Malta, Welsh U18s had a week to remember. A dog friendly coffee shop is being opened in Barry, by RNIB Cymru member April Keeble. Paws for a coffee will offer food and drinks for both dogs and their owners. April has been supported in her venture by Helen Gummet-Preece, Employment Advisor with RNIB Cymru. On Thursday the 2nd of April, Health and Social Services Minister Mark Drakeford unveiled a plan to recruit new primary care support workers to help people diagnosed with dementia as part of a new Welsh Government drive to tackle the condition.
