A local retired portrait artist, 73 year-old Terry O’Callaghan, has painted a portrait of Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and generously donated it to be auctioned off by the Royal British Legion. Director of Calonau Cymru/Welsh Hearts Sharon Owen asked local artist Christopher Langley if he would provide a work for auction the Snowflake Charity Ball on December 4th 2015.  Langley, 53, now living in Cardiff has shown work in New York in addition to selling to collectors worldwide. A lifelong Manchester United fan has supplied artwork for the recently opened Hotel Football Old Trafford, after GG Hospitality director, Gary Neville spotted his work on Twitter. Welsh artist Neil Roberts, aged 32, from Caernarfon, has designed a one-of-a-kind timeline featuring football superstars.
