The Cardiff University Women’s Rugby Club completed a challenge of running 2k every hour for 24 hours to raise £2,022 for charity Parkinson’s UK. People across Wales are being asked to sign up to their local Walk for Parkinson’s event and stride towards a Parkinson’s cure by funding groundbreaking research.   Millions of pounds are being wasted on reassessing people with Parkinson’s for a benefit even though they will not get better. Over the last bank holiday, three teams from Parkinson’s UK cycled to gardens open for charity in England and Wales to the celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the National Garden Scheme.
