Cardiff’s university students have been taking a break from the books, and getting on their bikes, to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing.  Students living in CRM Student accommodation across Cardiff took part in a unique cycling, walking and rowing challenge on Tuesday (May 14). At 1.00pm on Tuesday people from across Wales will “cycle on the Senedd” to lobby Welsh Government for an increase in investment in walking and cycling to £20 per head, as recommended in a recent report by the Assembly’s Economy, Infrastructure and Skills Committee.  Welsh Government is currently spending just £10 per head, half of the level in Scotland. Newport Family Cycling Festival will take place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September at Tredegar House, getting even more families on their bikes this year.
